Q. What is Goober-fest?
A. Goober-fest is a turn based game in which you control a "Goober" and with it attempt to battle your way to first place to win a monthly prize.

Q. How much does Goober-fest cost?
A. Goober-fest is absolutely free. You can, of course purchase extra turns or receive donator options if you choose to spend some money.

Q. What prizes can I win?
A. The prizes change monthly depending on the round. The prizes will normally be some sort of gift certificate, but could be something like an X-box.

Q. When are prizes handed out?
A. Prizes are generally sent out within a week of the round ending and the winner being declared. When you receive them varies.

Q. How long do rounds last?
A. Rounds typically last 1 month. Sometimes special rounds are held that may last a different amount of time.

Q. When do rounds begin?
A. Rounds generally start and end on the first day of each month.

Q. How many accounts am I allowed?
A. Since Goober-fest doesn't have any features to transfer account items, we have no limit to how many accounts somebody has.

Q. What is the age requirement to play Goober-fest?
A. Currently all ages are welcome to play Goober-fest. However, we do prefer that you're at least 13 years of age or have your parent's consent before playing, as some of the material viewed in our communications channels may be unsuitable for minors.

Q. What are Goobers?
A. I'm not sure. To me they sound like some sort of chewy green candy. Or some strange oval shaped animal. Either way, when I think of them, I always imagine green.

Q. What are turns?
A. It's easier to think of a turn as a quarter and of the game as an arcade machine. Each time you put in a quarter you can play, when you're out of quarters you have to wait for more.

Q. How do I get turns?
A. You are automatically given 1 turn every 10 minutes. You can only hold 200 turns at once unless you purchase additional turns or turn stashes.

Q. Why can't I send my items to friends?
A. This was done purposely, and for 2 reasons. The first is that the game doesn't really have a use for players exchanging items, and the second is that it prevents abuse of multiple accounts. Overall it just makes the game a bit fairer for everyone else.

Q. What is Continuous play?
A. Continuous play is an account type that protects your account from getting reset every month. This account type is not included in the competition for prizes, and is mostly only used by people who simply want to be the best while preserving their efforts.

Q. What is Rounds based?
A. The Rounds based account type is included in the monthly prize rounds and is reset after each round.

Q. Why is Goober-fest so small?
A. I like simplicity. I don't feel a game needs to be complex to be fun. Not only that, but I think you'll find Goober-fest isn't nearly as small as it first appears. ;)

Q. Are there any secret areas or hidden features?
A. Absolutely loads. I've always been a big fan of secrets, and I don't see why a turn based game should be any different. Look around and see if you can find them. If you do, please don't spoil it for everyone else. Looking is half of the fun.

Q. Is Goober-fest available in any other languages?
A. Yes. At the moment Goober-fest is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and German. If you would like to help us translate the game into another language not listed, please feel free to drop us a line.
